It has already been two years since we were locked at home. Virtual life became part of our reality.
Online classes became the new normal; be it academics, acting, singing or dance class.
Many people became celebrities in various social media communities. #Trending.
Brand ambassadors were not limited to well-known personalities. New names became popular in different platforms promoting different brands.
Recently, out of sheer curiosity, I downloaded a social media application used mostly by generation Z or Gen Z (born from 1997 to 2012).
Of the many features, one that attracted me most was that: there are leading dance steps (or anything) that one can follow and record (while doing it). Then… post!
It looked real fun. And way too simple. So one day, I invited my 58-year-old aunt to dance with me following the dance steps shown in the app.
Oh, yes, the steps were easy. We did it right the first time, and then the second time, and the third time was perfect. We laughed our hearts out.
After three trials, we were ready to record.
3… 2… 1… Record!
Dance to the music, we both did! Then suddenly…
“Ouch!”, exclaimed my aunt.
Lost in the beat of the music, she accidentally hit her left hip at the edge of the table.
She initially felt an excruciating pain that immobilized her. She fell on her knees crutching the injured hip.
I rushed to the freezer and wrapped some ice cubes with a towel; and gently applied the ice compress onto her left hip.
I then got for the bottle of OLEIA Oil Peppermint from the first-aid kit.
I applied a small amount of OLEIA on the affected area and reapplied the ice compress.
The cooling effect of peppermint helped in relieving the pain. (Based on my personal experiences, I can say that OLEIA is truly effective.)
After a few minutes, my aunt got better. She was raring to show her dance moves again.
She jokingly said, “Mahirap talaga pag tumatanda na.” (“It’s really hard to get old.”).
Peppermint is very effective to help relieve pain naturally and soothe sore muscles. It is especially helpful in soothing aching back, sore muscles, and melting away tension headaches.
OLEIA Topical Oils come with a blend of premium oils including olive and moringa seed oil. The special technology makes it easier for the skin to absorb the active ingredients in these exotic fruits, helping deliver anti-inflammatory effects that will help one feel much better.
Thanks to OLEIA that my aunt is back on the dance floor.
Well, the dance floor of our house, at least.
