Lavender oil is extracted using the process of steam distillation using the flowering top of Lavendula Angustifolia plant, which is extremely aromatic in nature. The plant grows up to a height of 1 to 2 meters and its flowers are lavender or pinkish-purple in color.

Lavender Essential Oil is well known for its sedative properties and for its ability to help calm stress and anxiety and to help promote sleep.

Diffuser Blend to induce sleep: Mix Lavender Oil and Tangerine Oil on a 3:1 ratio, for example, 6 drops of Lavender Oil and 2 drops of Tangerine Oil. Mix oil thoroughly in a glass bottle or container. Pour Oil blend in a diffuser with the right amount of water.
Applied topically and diluted in Oleia Unscented Oil, Lavender oil helps moisturize chapped and aging skin and restore skin complexion with its powerful anti-oxidant action. Its anti-septic and anti-fungal properties may help to reduce itching and swelling caused by insect bites. Known to have anti-microbial properties, it provides soothing relief to minor burns and cuts, decreasing pain and inhibiting bleeding while eliminating bacteria from the wound.

For topical use, add 12 drops of lavender essential oil to 30ml of Oleia Unscented Oil (2% dilution) or 18 drops of lavender essential oil to 30ml of Oleia Unscented Oil (3% dilution).

These products might have hormone effects that could disrupt the normal hormones in a boy's body. In some cases, this has resulted in boys developing abnormal breast growth called gynecomastia. The safety of these products when used by young girls is not known.
